But some people tend to take shortcuts which results in extra weight gain post-marriage and bad skin quality. #1 Say No to Crash Dieting
When an ordinary person hears the word “Dieting” they start assuming they shouldn’t be eating anything at all and should starve to death. Carbohydrates suddenly become the biggest enemy for them. This is a complete myth. A proper diet means a balanced diet where you add all the nutrients to your plate but go for the calorie deficit. What calorie deficit means is eating a lesser amount of calories thank your body requires for daily functioning. Crash dieting not only makes you end up putting on even extra kilos than you lost, but it also makes your skin and hair quality bad. If the body misses out on any nutrient that deficiency makes your body condition worse.
#2 Its Stress, You Are Not Hungry
Let’s accept the fact that every time a person stresses out, they tend to overeat. Stress eating is one of the top reasons for weight gain. There are so many reasons to stress out before the wedding. What happens is when you stress out, your body produces a hormone named Cortisol, in some extra amount which signals your body to feed it. You are not hungry, but this stress hormone makes you feel you are. The best way to avoid stress eating is, drink water, eat a handful of nuts, have roasted black chickpeas or a fruit.
#3 A Little Lifestyle Change
We millennials wish to do so many things but we all end up with the same excuse- We don’t have TIME!! One must add exercise to their routine not only to lose weight but also lead a healthy life. But how to manage to go to the gym with a job and wedding planning? The answer is simple. Though going to a gym is the priority, but if you can’t go to the gym then you can still manage exercising. Take out 30 mins a day at home. You can do home exercises like jumping, squats, push-ups, and planks. At the workplace, take stairs instead of lifts. Don’t keep sitting at the same place for more than 1 hour. These few lifestyle changes will keep you active and fit.
